Berni received her Master of Photographic Arts designation in October 2015 and received the hardware at the 2016 Image Salon Awards in Calgary, Alberta in April 2016.  She received her Craftsman of Photographic Arts designation a year earlier at the 2015 Image Salon Awards in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
